Today is Mandy's Birthday. It's 2023, and historically, I've been blessed on this day in so many ways. I will never forget the days I spent on Martha's Vineyard with her when she was a baby. It was her and I on the beach at sunrise and I can see her laughing in my mind's eye as I sang a lullabye to her. Mandy inspired me to write the poem that later turned into a book called, "Shadow Dancing". It is self-pubished the way all of my books are, but this book is the most endearing to me, because it is about a love that no one can take away, that is pure, and unconditional. It is the love for my children.
